Nice to meet you.
I am an independent freelance designer with over 10 years of experience.
I approach each project with insight and experience, listening and working with you to create lasting and successful communications that uncover the values you have in common with your customer—be it a new brand, an interactive website, or printed pieces. I am a designer, and more than that—a thinker, an idea-bringer, a problem solver.
Prior to going independent, I was a part of Zoom Creates, a Portland design and marketing agency. I joined the two founding partners of Zoom Creates in 2000 and helped to grow a 3-person design studio into a 15-person integrated marketing agency. Over the course of nine years, I built up extensive experience as a graphic designer, project manager and art director, and worked on many of the agency’s key accounts, such as HP, Intel, SolarWorld and USB, overseeing entire projects from design to delivery.
I graduated from Portland State University with honors in 2000, earning a bachelor of arts in Graphic Design.
In addition to my work in graphic design, I am the proud co-contributor to a daily photoblog, Complementary. See our daily photo pairings at wearecomplementary.com.
